A tight budget led to a simple wedge shaped form following the slope of the land and pointing to the ever present escarpment not far up the hill. The half house hugs the southern boundary to maximise north aspect onto a serene and dappled backyard. The detail was largely kept within a 2100h human band with large sliding openings and meandering wall layouts to accomodate door stacks and internal shelving.
Barnacle Studio practices in the land of the Wodi Wodi peoples of the Dharawal nation.
